Synopsis:
Georgia Nicolson has started dating the Sex God (aka Robbie). So life should be perfect . . . except in Georgia's life, nothing is ever perfect. Her cat, Angus (the size of a small Labrador), is terrorizing the neighborhood. Her sister, Libby (who is slightly mad), hides her pooey knickers at the bottom of Georgia's bed. Then the Sex God breaks it off because she's too young. It's time for a plan. It's time for a Red Herring. It's time for Georgia to become a "heartless boy magnet!"

My Review:
So...after reading the second book in the Geogia Nicholson series, I have now decided to buy a time machine, go back to when I was a teenager, and grow up being best friends with Georgia. She just seems to have so much more fun  than I did! She has so many crazy adventures that I can barely keep up with this nutcase of a child! She's like a small, teenage, British Stephanie Plum. The only thing missing is the exploding cars, and I'm sure they aren't far behind with how many crazy shenanegans that Georgia gets herself into.

I totally adored Dave the Laugh. He does all those cute little things that every girl wants their men to do...like call without a reason or bringing you flowers to make your day better. Georgia is also super comfy with him and talks to him much more reasonably that with the Sex God (Robbie)...to whom she only seems to be able to say things like "nung" and "ouhoono". Dave was the perfect most fabulous boyfriend ever. I mean who wouldn't totally swoon all over themselves with a guy who does this: “Dave phoned. He said, ‘I just called to say I really liked you. Night night.'” and she actually LIKES him too...Dumb 14-yr-old not going for the good guy...I was actually kind of pissed at Georgie for using him like she did. I can only hope she makes it up for him later on in the series.

The plot is basically the same as the first. We have a fourteen year old girl dealing with the angst that is teenage-dom. Georgia is absolutely 100% off the wall crazy, but that makes her so much fun. She hates her school and her boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. She loves her baby-sister Libby despite her tendency to leave poo-filled diapers in her bed (Libby does...not Georgia), she loves Angus even though he terrorizes the animal kingdom within a 30 mile radius of her house, and she has perhaps too much love for the guys in her neighborhood. I love hearing about all the teenage adventures and fun, as well as the pain and sorrow. Georgia still hasn't grown up even a tiny bit, but I feel like she's starting to grow on me...maybe it doesn't matter that she's kind of a twit sometimes...I love her anyways.

Best scene in the entire book:
8:35 pm
You can make a sort of nose sling out of pair of knickers. Like a sort of antigravity device. You put a leg hole over each ear and the middley bit supports your nose. It's quite comfy. I'm not saying that it looks very glamorous. I'm just saying it's comfy.

8:40 pm
It's not something I would wear outside of the privacy of my own bedroom.

8:45 pm
It's a good view from my windowsill. I can see Mr. Next Door with his stupid poodles. He's all happy now that Angus has gone off poodle baiting in favor of the Burmese sex kitten.

8:46 pm
Oh hello, here comes Mark, my ex, the breast fondler. At this rate he will be the one and only fondler. I will die unfondled. He must be coming home from footie practice. I don't know how I could ever have thought about snogging him; he wears extremely tragic trousers. He is looking up at my window. He has seen me. He's stopped walking and is looking up at my window. Staring at me. Well, you know what they say - once a boy magnet always a boy magnet. I'm just going to stare back in a really cool way. All right, Mr. Big Gob, Mr. Dumper. I might be the dumpee but you still can't take your eyes away from me though, can you??? I still fascinate him. He's just looking up at me. Just staring and staring.
Mesmerized by me.

8:50 pm
Oh my god! I am still wearing my nose hammock made out of knickers.

8:56 pm
Mark will tell all his mates.

8:57 pm
He will now call me a knicker-sniffer as well as a lesbian... my life is over
Oh Georgie...how I love you!
I give OTBSINTGFOASG...wow...thats really long even for an abbreviation...anyways. I give it 4 Keys! It's a fun and fluffy book with lots of awesome packed into a small amount of pages. You'll want to run out and get the entire series and have it all in one go...Nuff said!
