Synopsis:
Welcome to the Zen Lounge, twenty-one floors of customizable carnal pleasures to fulfill your wildest fantasies. Even in the year 2192, it shouldn't exist but Voryk Kade simply couldn't ignore the urge to take a closer look. What he finds is a woman bent on ruining everything he'd ever believed to be true. She holds the key to all of Voryk's darkest, neediest desires and despite her silence, provides the proof behind his belief that there is something far seedier going on under the high-end gloss of professional eroticism.
Enlisting the help of his closest friends, Voryk's only goal is to keep Nexlana safe, naked and his. Unfortunately, she was already someone's favorite pet and when Master comes calling, it’s with a vengeance and the intent of never letting her slip away again. Haunted pasts continue to resurface, only Nexlana's might be far deadlier than any of them could have guessed—connections between her, arson, an assassination and a cold case no one ever wanted to delve into again. To stop the worst case scenario from taking place, they must finally figure out just who in the hell the Master really is.
~Character Interview with A.C!~
Hi, I'm A.C. Melody, thank you for having me!  I thought I'd spice things up a bit, step outside of the norm by conducting an exclusive interview with my witty (and totally hawt) sub-characters, rather than Mr. Kade.  Here's a quick rundown on his two sexy sidekicks:

Matt Gryphon is a Detective for the MCPD's Special Crimes Unit. He's a ruggedly handsome, mid-thirties metaphor junkie with medium brown hair and steel-gray eyes.  His true love is his 1970 Chevelle SS with all the modern trimmings.
Hilo Mehnce is a high-profile criminal defense attorney and all-around prankster.  He's Adonis incarnate with blond hair, baby blues and chiseled mug.  His true passion lies in why he's INTERPOL's most wanted, yet untraceable hacker.

A.C.M.:  Okay guys, let's get started.  Both of you share quite a bit of the spotlight in The Zen Lounge, giving us some insight into your friendship with Voryk, but not any of the intimate details the readers really want to know.  Of course, the #1 question on everyone's mind is: Boxers or briefs?

H.M.:  Boxer briefs. They're the little black dress of mens underwear.
M.G.:  And now the image of Hilo in a little black dress is stuck in my head.  Ha! We should make that your new Christmas card.
H.M.:  I am one sexy bitch, but I don't see that happening.
M.G.:  All it would take is a bottle of Cognac and a camera, pal.  It is so happening.
H.M.:  Gryph doesn't wear underwear.

A.C.M.:  Really?  That's... (fans self)... intriguing.
M.G.:  And disturbingly accurate, which makes me feel all dirty and violated now.
A.C.M.:  (clears throat) Uh... most people find tattoos super sexy.  Do either of you have any?
M.G.:  I have one on my right shoulder blade.
H.M.:  (rolls eyes) Yeah, of the MCPD oath.  That's hot.
M.G.:  Where's your tatt again, pussy?
H.M.:  Tattoos are distinguishable marks tracked like fingerprints and birthmarks, I'm not stupid.
M.G.:  Like I said; pussy.  Your guilty paranoia has me itching to arrest you as cop, but the pansy-ass part...that just makes me want to arrest you on principle.

A.C.M.:  Speaking of arrest threats: Gryph, you got stuck working with Lieutenant Loren Giles a lot in the book and it seems there's some chemistry there, do you think you two will ever hook up?
M.G.:  What?! What chemistry!? God, no! I'd rather be written off than ever hook up with her! It's not even funny, Hilo, shut the hell up.
H.M.:  (laughing loudly) Holy, shit, dude the look on your face!  Fucking hilarious!

A.C.M.:  What kind of girl does spark the interest of Matron City's most eligible bachelors, then?
M.G.:  (jerks a thumb at Hilo) He likes the 'anything that moves' kind.  I prefer the more down-to-earth, girl next door type.
H.M.:  Which is why he never gets laid.
M.G.:  At least I have standards.
H.M.:  I repeat...  I'm actually thinking about having Lana cloned.
A.C.M.:  (For our audience, that's Nexlana, Voryk's love interest in the book.)
H.M.:  Interest doesn't equal copyrights to her image and personality, now does it?
M.G.:  Dead man talking.  I can't wait for Ryk to hear this.
H.M.:  You didn't...
M.G.:  (plays back recorded conversation on his pilot and grins) Oh, I totally did.
H.M.:  You're a bastard.
M.G.:  Correction, I'm a bastard with leverage. Dude, you should see the look on your face. Now, that's hilarious!

A.C.M.:  Okay. Well, friends, I think that concludes our rather... interesting interview.  Thanks again to all of our readers for stopping by today!  We hope to see you in Matron City soon!  Hilo, you're looking a little pale...

Closing her eyes for a moment, she shuddered, and then grabbed Voryk's hand and placed it on her throat, running it down toward her chest.

“Yes, it's warm,” he said aloud what she could not.

When her eyes opened on his, Voryk noted that his blood was also very warm.  Under the palm of his hand, her heart beat a little faster.  In her ethereal eyes, a familiar beckoning called out to him, igniting his own need.  Taking the wine from her, Voryk leaned forward and returned it to the table.  This time, he didn't sit back.  Her pulse throbbed beneath his fingertips, as he turned his head just so and buried his face in the silky texture of her hair, in the scent of it.  Slowly, he ran just the tip of his nose over the soft flesh of her throat, his fingers curling around the nape of her neck before he grazed the same line of flesh with his lips.

Her pulse skittered and raced, stirring his blood even more, kicking his desire into a sizzling temperature.  He loitered at her jaw, using lips, tongue and teeth.  Though she was silent, her breath was warm and choppy in his ear.  Leaving a trail of kisses across the hollow of her cheek, Voryk found her mouth.  That mouth, he thought again.  God, that mouth.

Melody lives in Washington State, is the proud mom of two amazing sons – okay, so they're typical boys and always keep her on her toes!  Stemming from a family of artists and musicians, she thrives in all things creative and would call a day without her MP3 player and coffee a day of reckoning.  When she's not writing, reading, drawing or cheering on the sidelines at football games, A.C. Also enjoys gardening, which has honed her ability to dodge raindrops into an enviable skill.
