Theo's sole purpose for the last ninety-eight years was to protect his wolf. That changed the moment he met Drew and the wolf called 'Mate'. Carrying the soul of an extinct wolf alongside your own isn't easy. Swapping into said wolf is even harder. Ask Theo Grey-he's been doing it for ninety-eight years. Yet, after surviving two world wars, witnessing the space race and patiently enduring the eighties, you'd think he'd have seen it all, but nothing could have prepared him for meeting Tofino's new vet, Drew O'Bannion and according to the wolf, his mate. Drew loves her dog, sleeping in and coffee. She also loves being a vet. The main reason behind her accepting the veterinarian practice offered to her from a family friend. Hoping for a slower pace at life Tofino seemed the ideal spot. What she didn't expect was Officer Theo Grey. Theo is tall, dark and drop dead gorgeous, a definite 10 on the 'wow' scale. Regardless of his looks, there is more to Theo, there is her unexpected attraction for him. It's unnerving and completely out of character for her, but she is able to match Theo's hungry kiss, for hungry kiss. With their desire growing at an alarming rate and the threat of an unknown shooter roaming the woods of the coastal town, Theo must face the ultimate decision-let Drew go for her own safety or claim his mate for all time.

Thanks for having me today Andra...again!
lol
Thanks for being here Nancy! I love having you around...so I keep making it happen! :) The Bannockburn Spell was a great read! I can't WAIT to try Extinct! Hope you are doing fabulous today!
So, Miss Andra wanted to know who I think
are the Best Male Leads of ALL TIME. (Yes!)
Well let me tell you...this list will be
quite to mix of characters and long..really really long but I will shorten it
to ten just for you. Also, I promise that I will give information on each gorgeous
leading men on the off chance some of you might not know who they are.
Okay, let’s hit it!
10. Movie – The
Quite Man
Character –
Shaun Thornton ( John Wayne )
I love the ‘Duke’. He is a man’s man and
the characters he portrays are the same. This particular time however, his
character is a bit more subtle and he seems to keep his testosterone under
control until the end, when he fights ( literally ) for the love of his wife (
Maureen O’Hara ). AWE!!!
9. Movie – The
Departed
Character –
William "Billy" Costigan ( Leonardo DiCaprio )
Billy is such a great character. He’s a
good cop leading the life of criminal to stop a gangster. He has a fling with a
doc and I love this romantic elements but
she’s sleeping with the bad cop and dumps Billy. Bitch!
8. Steve McQueen
– In anything
Come on, we’re talking about Steve
McQueen!!! He’s the first real action star, a man’s man. He was devoted to his
children, loved life to it’s fullest and was a FANTASIC hero. I had a whooper of a crush on this man when I
was only 5 and I still do!!
7. Novel - Lola
Carlyle Reveals All by Author Rachel Gibson
Character – Max Zamora
Max is an ex-black op solider who gets
trapped on an island with an ex-super model. At first, he hates all the girly
things but he comes around and finally falls for Lola even though he fights it
every step of the way. It’s funny and sweet and sexy. FYI...you will drool over
this guy by the time you are done reading.
6. Novel –
Ransom by Author Julie Garwood
Character - Brodrick
Buchanan
Brodrick is a Laird of his clan and he
falls for an English lady when she falsely claims he is her husband to gain his
help. At heart Brodrick is a warrior, but he’s loyal, caring, gentle and he
admires his loves spirit and fight. It’s one of my favourite books.
5. Movie –
Savages by Oliver Stone
Character – Chon
( Taylor Kitsch )
Chon is a gorgeous ex-special ops
solider. Need I say more? Oh, wait! He’s played by a gorgeous Canadian! Do I
need to mention that there is serious kink in this movie? The opening scene is
a good start.
4. Novel and
Movies – The Bourne Series
Character Jason
Bourne ( Matt Damon )
Jason is an ex-black ops solider who is
fighting to regain his memory and protect his life. I really like that he has a
girlfriend and that he actually loves her. It makes him more human.
Are you seeing the trend yet???
3. Novel - The
Bannockburn Spell by Nancy Adams
Character William
MacKenzie
What can I say...I wrote this book with
my ideal leading man. Why wouldn’t I. First off Will is Scottish with dark
hair, hypnotic eyes, a great body, plus he’s an ex-SBS (Special Boat Service)
solider and if you haven’t figured it out I love me those soldiers. When I was
creating William, I got my inspiration from another Scot who has similar looks.
Can you guess who it is? I’ll give you a hint... his last name rhymes with
Hutler. Lol
2. Book - Lightening
by Author Dean Koontz
Character–
Stefan Krieger
Lightening is my all time favourite book.
I’m sure I’ve mentioned it a few thousands time.
This book has it all romance, adventure, humour,
action, and time travel. And the lead character actions just tug on your
heartstrings right from the start. I mean really! A man travels through time to
save the life of the women he loves, not just once either but many times, right
from the day she was born. Oh man my heart is melting just thinking about it. I
just love this book. READ IT!!!
1. Novel - The
Soul Within by Nancy Adams
Character - Alex
‘Ace’ Hunter
Yes! Another one of my leading men made
the list. Alex however is a completely different from William of The
Bannockburn Spell. Alex is a current member of an elite military unit who track
down and kill dangerous offenders. After protecting an innocent pregnant women,
Alex is shot by his partner and slips into a coma. But even that won’t stop him
from protecting this women. Alex is ruthless, unrelenting and he can be cruel.
He is also capable of heart stopping violence, but all these are kept in tight
check. He’s also extremely passionate and caring and very protective. There is
no half way with Alex, he dives in head first in every aspect of his life. And
I mean EVERYTHING..wink...wink!!
Okay so there you have it, my list of
Best Male Leads of ALL TIME. I would like to give honourable mention to Mark
Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson, and my other two characters Theo Grey ( EXTINCT) and
Gabriel Sutherland (NO MATTER WHEN), also the boys from Supernatural and the
boys from Strike Back for making my dream so very, very nice. LOL
Thank you once again Andra for having me
today and sharing my newest release EXTINCT. I hope you enjoy it.
Cheers,
Nancy

Sudden enlightenment crossed Tom’s face as he offered his
hand in greeting. “Nice to meet you, Dr O’Bannion.” Theo plucked the box from
her arms as Tom shook her hand lightly. Then, as though he knew what the wolf
wanted, Tom stepped away from her. The wolf gave a satisfied snort and calmed.
“I’m Chief here in these parts, so if you have any problems,
you come find me.”
“I will, and please, Drew is just fine. I’m not good with
all the formal titles.”
“You got it. Come on.” Tom waved them on. “I’ll show you
where you can set up.”
As Tom led them to the far end of the building, Drew leaned
in close, her hand hovering over her mouth. “Do you have any breath mints?”
“No.” Puzzled, he asked, “Why?”
“I forgot to brush my teeth after my lunch.” She gave him a
worried frown.
“So?”
“Didn’t you see the way he backed away from me? There was
onion in the pasta sauce I made.”
Theo laughed. He laughed harder when she scowled back at
him.
In a huff, she moved away from him.
Still smiling, he tucked her box under his arm, then stopped
her. He grabbed the side of her rain jacket, then pulled her close.
“What are you doing?” She pushed against his chest as her
breathy words warmed his face.
Even though he knew Tom had stepped away to appease the
wolf, Theo still bent his head close to hers and drew in a deep breath. Ruby
was the first odor he detected, followed by basil and parsley, thanks to their
strong scents. The next all mixed together—tomatoes, celery, mushrooms, the
slightest amount of onion—nothing to really worry about—and finally the pasta
and…apples? Apple juice maybe?
Then a new scent hit him. It was Drew. She was aroused by
his close contact. He could smell her damp and honey-sweet fragrance. It was
intoxicating.
He clenched his teeth together, fighting the seductive pull.
“I don’t smell any onion,” he breathed. “You’re good.”

I am a full-blooded Canadian, right down to the maple syrup
running through my veins. I enjoy watching hockey, but despise skating...and
the cold. I enjoy a good helping of
Tourtiere with a side of Poutine as must as the next person, yet I am only
bilingual when it comes to swear words.
I am proud to say I survived my token shot of Newfie Screech, although I
did refuse to kiss the Cod - that is never going to happen - and I openly
admit, that I fell in love with the Rocky Mountains the first time I saw them.
I have many occupations written down in my passport, mom, wife,
author...zookeeper! However, I have to
say that writing is by far the easiest part of my day.
I have three small -but legal- addictions: bed lines, lavender,
and books. All of which, are replenished
on a regular basis. Reading into the wee
hours of the morning, is one of many bad habits, next to spontaneously
rearranging furniture and randomly painting rooms in my house.
