Sunday Edition (2/3-2/10)

I finally got tired of choosing between the three major Sunday Posts that took over from In My Mailbox. I didn't know which one to participate in each week until I ran across Paulette's Paper's. She didn't have to choose so I decided that I will be participating in all of them as well! :) My Sunday Edition is a weekly update using the following Memes: Showcase Sunday hosted by Books, Biscuits & Tea, Sunday Post hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer &Stacking the Shelves host by Tynga’s Reviews.

For Reveiw
Mainspring is the story of a young clockmaker's apprentic, who is visited by the Archangel Gabriel. He is told that he must take the Key Perilous and rewind the Mainspring of the Earth. It is running down, and disaster to the planet will ensue if it's not rewound. From innocence and ignorance to power and self-knowledge, the young man will make the long and perilous journey to the South Polar Axis, to fulfill the commandment of his God

White Mughals is the romantic and ultimately tragic tale of a passionate love affair that crossed and transcended all the cultural, religious and political boundaries of its time.It is a remarkable story, involving secret assignations, court intrigue, harem politics, religious and family disputes.William Dalrymple unearths such colourful figures as 'Hindoo Stuart', who travelled with his own team of Brahmins to maintain his temple of idols, and who spent many years trying to persuade the memsahibs of Calcutta to adopt the sari; and Sir David Ochterlony, Kirkpatrick's counterpart in Delhi, who took all thirteen of his wives out for evening promenades, each on the back of their own elephant.
